10% off Doordash with Chase Offers
Chase is offering 10% cashback for up to a total of $5 cashback on a single purchase with Doordash. The Chase Offer ends on February 28th, 2021, and appears to be widely targeted as I had multiple Chase cards that received it The offer is redeemable on DoorDash's website or the app, and you must first add it to your respective Chase card through your online account or the Chase mobile app.
As a reminder, Chase Sapphire (Reserve and Preferred) card holders get 12 months of complimentary DashPass, and Chase Freedom (legacy, Unlimited, and Flex) get 3 months of free DashPass. DashPass gets you free delivery on orders of $12+ and reduced service fees. Chase Reserve card holders also get $60 in automatic Doordash credit for this calendar year.
Although you have to use your DashPass-registered Chase card in order to receive DashPass benefits, you can redeem a Doordash gift card and be eligible for DashPass as long as the registered Chase card is your default form of payment. So let's say you signed up for DashPass with your Chase Reserve card and only your Chase co-branded World of Hyatt credit card received the 10% Doordash Chase Offer. You can use your Chase Hyatt card to buy a $50 Doordash gift card and then redeem that gift card while getting DashPass benefits as long as you keep your Reserve card as your default payment method, even if not a penny gets charged to it.
Quick thoughts
This is a nice Chase Offer to get 10% back on Doordash, and is stackable with any existing promos/coupons that you might already have on your Doordash account. Even if you don't plan on using Doordash by the end of this month before the Chase Offer expires, you can still use it for a $50 Doordash gift card that doesn't expire, and get the $5 cashback.
